Visitor Sign-In Protocol

Dear Parents/Guardians:

In order to ensure the safety and security of our students we are asking all of our visitors to adhere to the sign in protocol.  You are required to stop by the office upon arrival and sign yourself into our Visitor Registry Book. Parents, guardians and visitors are asked to not go directly to classrooms and to stop by the office.  Office staff will direct you accordingly.  If you are directed to go to the classroom, please follow the procedure below.

  1. Complete the sign in page in the Visitor Registry Book.
  2. Remove the visitor tag on the lanyard located directly behind the visitor registry book and wear around your neck. Our staff have been trained to look for the visitor tag identifying all visitors to ensure our protocols are being followed.
  3. Before you leave the building, please return to the office,  sign out and return the visitor tag.

In the event of an emergency, it is critical that everyone in the building be accounted for. Careful and conscientious observation of visitor sign-in/sign out procedures will better enable the school to ensure the safety of all building occupants, including students, employees, staff and visitors.

Thank you for your co-operation and support.

Sincerely,

Audrey Gribbons
Principal
